According to reports a African-American shot dead Rajinder Kumar at an Exxom gas station in Glen Burnie, Maryland today.

Kumar is survived by wife Rajni Sharma, two children Saurav, 20 and Sonali, 15. Kumar's nephew Vishva Bharti , however said that Indian government should take up the issue of security of Indians with US government. "First of all we want Kumar's body to be brought here then we also want that suitable action should be taken for the security of other Indians living there" he said.
