'Man U fan' Bolt may play football for Jamaica after retirement from athletics

Jamaican sprint star Usain Bolt has reportedly fuelled speculations that he could play football for his native country when he retires from athletics after the 2016 Rio Olympics

Bolt will be 30 years old by the end of the 2016 Games, when he plans to end his legendary track career.

According to Metro.co.uk, Jamaican football coach Winfried Schaefer claimed that he would welcome the world's fastest man into his squad after his retirement, adding that they can make Bolt into a very good footballer.

The six-time Olympic champion, who is also a big Manchester United fan, reacted to Schaefer's admission with an Instagram post that strongly hinted he is open to the idea.

Accompanied by a picture of a newspaper front page on the story, Bolt wrote: 'Jamaica how we look... we say to the world and anything possible...
