Ahead of his side's FA Cup clash with Sheffield United, under-fire Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has said that the atmosphere inside the dressing room is 'too good', but added that it may affect the performance of the team.
The Dutchman has called on his side to show more aggression and responsibility rather than being too friendly with each other.
"I think the atmosphere in our dressing room is very good, maybe too good because they are always protecting the dressing room, their colleagues. That is very good until a certain height," Van Gaal was quoted as saying by goal.com.
Considering the football as a 'brain sport', the 64-year-old urged his side to focus on the game and try to score as many goals as possible.
"We have also changed our approach to the players to make it more easy to take responsibility. I have stimulated them to think about football," he added.
Van Gaal insisted that United were making every possible effort to turn the tables.
Earlier, Van Gaal's job came under scrutiny following his side's repeated poor performances in the Premier League and early exit from the Champions League.
