Manish Sisodia claims Delhi will have AAP govt. post fresh assembly elections

Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia today claimed that they will definitely form government in the capital if fresh assembly elections are held.

Criticising the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for delaying the elections, Sisodia accused the party for conspiring with the Congress to not let elections happen in Delhi.

If today, elections are held in Delhi the people will definitely vote for more than 45 AAP Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs). The BJP and the Congress know this that's why they are together conspiring and running away from the assembly elections," said Sisodia, at the ongoing party rally in Jantar Mantar.

"The BJP had earlier thought of purchasing AAP MLAs but they failed to do so. The current government is not honest; therefore it's important for democracy to dissolve the assembly. And we promise that the upcoming government in Delhi will be from AAP," he added.

Regarding the current problem of rising inflation in Delhi, Sisodia taunted on BJP's election manifesto of good days 'acche din' saying that despite promises of good days, the bad days came and the people are now facing the trouble of rising inflation and corruption, the rising inflation can reduce not by promising good days but by electing honest people.

"We have gathered here today because we want to speak up for the people of Delhi who are facing the problem from the rising inflation, corruption, bribery, etc in the capital. There are no good days instead the bad days have come. The people are worried as to how will the condition of schools and hospitals will improve in Delhi," said Sisodia.

He added that AAP wants to relieve the people from all these problems as it had happened when party supremo Arvind Kejriwal had become the Chief Minister of Delhi.

Delhi is currently under Governor rule since Kejriwal had resigned from his post within 49 days of becoming the Chief Minister.

AAP had often alleged that the BJP will not allow the party to form government in the national capital and are opting for divisive politics. They also alleged that BJP was shamelessly indulging in unethical practices and luring lawmakers to form government in Delhi, which was highly condemnable.

The BJP had won 31 seats in the assembly polls in December last year but its number came down to 28 in the 70-member house after three of its legislators including Union Health Minister, Harsh Vardhan, were elected to Lower House of the Parliament.
