Former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has accused incumbent chief minister Nitish Kumar of repeatedly fooling the people of the state over poll-related fears.
"Nitish Kumar is trying to fool the people due to the election. We ask the Government of India to intervene if there is any legal matter. These incidents are something about which we have been talkin BOUTg for long. Be it farmer suicides, or the person who had gone to Kishanganj for employment and was beaten up badly," Manjhi told media here.
Manjhi also expressed his concern about the rise in the number of rapes taking place in Bihar.
"What is the reason gang rapes are taking place? There is a kind of people who gang rape. Society should think as to why this is taking place," said Manjhi.
