The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, will hold a meeting of key infrastructure ministries on Friday.
Ministers of Railways, Road Transport and Highways, Shipping, Civil Aviation, Power and Coal will attend the meeting.
The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the targets to be achieved in these infrastructure sectors for the year 2013-14 and finalise them.
The Prime Minister had followed the same practice last year in which a meeting was held on the targets for 2012-13, which were then finalized and announced.
This year also, the Planning Commission has done the preparatory work in finalizing the targets for 2013-14. At the end of this meeting, the targets would be formally announced.
