Manny Pacquiao's dad Rosalio Pacquiao has dismissed claims that he had once eaten his son's dog during his tough upbringing in the Philippines.
He said that all these claims were false and was not aware from where these claims had been made, the Mirror reported.
Rosalio added that he had always supported his son's boxing career and shared a very strong and healthy relationship.
However, Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach claimed his fighter has fled from home after his father ate the dog.
Before making a career in the ring, Manny used to sell doughnuts. He set aside differences with his father in 2009 and ended their 20 year old feud.
Pacquiao would go head-to-head against Mayweather in the richest fight in history at the MGM Grand Arena in his bid to defeat the undefeated five-weight world champion.
