The Delhi Government has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the alleged encounter killing of wanted criminal Manoj Vashishtha at a restaurant in the national capital.
Vashishtha's family members met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday and demanded a fair probe into the alleged encounter, following which, the decision of an inquiry into the case was taken.
Vashishtha was shot dead by the Delhi Police in an encounter at the Sagar Ratna restaurant in city's Old Rajender Nagar market on Saturday night.
Following the shoot-out, he was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
