Mariah Carey's engagement ring 'too heavy' for her

Mariah Carey, who recently got engaged to her boyfriend James Packer, opened up about her massive 35-carat engagement ring.

The 45-year-old songstress said in a recent interview that her engagement ring is so heavy that she can't even lift her arm, reports News.com.au.

Further, talking about how Packer proposed to her, Carey said that it was very romantic and it gets more romantic by the day.

The ring is reportedly more than twice the weight of the 17-carat emerald-cut pink diamond Carey received from ex-husband Nick Cannon in 2008.

Carey also said that she has not taken any decisions on their wedding, but she wants it to happen somewhat soon.

The 'Without You' hit-maker added that they are not doing a big wedding because Packer has had two big weddings and she has had one herself, so they would rather make it beautiful, but humble.

This will be the third marriage for Carey, who was also previously married to music executive Tommy Mottola. Packer has three young children with his former wife Erica Baxter and was previously married to Jodhi Meares.
