Actress Maureen O'Hara has passed away at the age of 95.
O'Hara's family confirmed in a statement that she died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Idaho, The Mirror reports.
In a statement to a newspaper, the family said that Maureen was their loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, adding that the actress passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family as they celebrated her life listening to the music from her favorite movie.
Irish-American actress first came to Hollywood with the 1939 film 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' and was famous for starring in 'The Quiet Man' opposite John Wayne.
