The Dabangg girl of Bollywood Sonakshi Sinha will next be seen portraying the role of a journalist who wants to get into hard journalism but is being forced to cover a Sunny Leone story, which disappoints her.

Sona recently released the trailer of the flick on her Twitter handle which proves that this outing seems to be an interesting role play for the actress.

She wrote on her social media, "Aaaand the #NoorTrailer is here. Proud & excited! @NoorTheFilm is really close to my heart. Hope you guys like it."

The 29-year old is shown as a clumsy girl, who parties hard with friends and sulks every now and then because of her weight issues. In the second half of the 2 minute 20 second trailer, Noor gets an interesting story to work on which eventually unfolds a lot of shocking details on Mumbai city.

Talking about the film during the official trailer launch, the 'Force 2' star said, "Big actor would not have made a difference. The characters needed fresh and real people."

Sonakshi was also asked to give her views on the Gurmehar Kaur row, the 20-year-old who joined a social media campaign against the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) after violent clashes at Delhi University's Ramjas College.

The actress chose to keep mum on the controversy and said, "I think, This is not the right place to speak on that."

'Noor' is based on a novel Karachi, 'You're Killing Me!' and has been written by a Pakistan author Saba Imtiaz.

Given the present political scenario in the country, the makers were asked if the movie will release in the neighbouring country, to which producer Bhushan Kumar said, "Yes, 'Noor' will release in Pakistan."

On a related note, the supporting cast of the film includes Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar and Purab Kohli.

The flick will hit the big screens on April 21.
