A four-year-old goldfish has been trained by her owner to push a small ball into a Subbuteo goal in the bottom of its tank, scoring a goal in the process.
According to the Mirror, the goldfish is being called as 'Span the footballing goldfish' and enjoys scoring goals although people say goldfish are not very bright and have no memory.
Owner Peter Bettison said that Span had taken to it really well and comes back to playing even after a long lay-off.
The report also gave out a Fish Football XI using names such as Andrei Arsha-fin, Prawn Wright Phillips and Paul Shoals.
