Golf No.1 Tiger Woods had reportedly 'parked' his nearly new Gulfstream private jet on the apron at Edinburgh Airport while he prepares to challenge for the claret jug in the Open at Muirfield this weekend.
The Nike-backed tournament favourite proved he knows how to travel in style when his 2008 39 million-pound G5, which is registered to his GTW Corp company and 60 million-dollar estate in Florida, touched down at the start of the week, the Scotsman reports.
The report further said that an aviation industry source said the jet has been joined by various other sleek craft, creating one of the world's most exclusive, expensive and desirable parking lots.
Stating that Woods owns a jet belonging to the 'mega wealthy' category, the source further said that the apron at the airport is packed with US-registered private jets - all of them here because of the golf tournament.
