Meghalaya CM presides over ANVC disbanding ceremony in Shillong

Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma recently presided over a disbanding ceremony of the chik National Volunteers' Council (ANVC) of Meghalaya and its breakaway faction, the ANVC (B).

The event took place at the Dikki-Bandi Stadium in Tura.

Chairmen of the two outfits surrendered their arms and signed an affirmation for disbandment in the presence of Chief Minister Mukul Sangma, government officials and hundreds of cadres.
