American filmmaker and director, Mel Gibson appears to be trying to beat the character of 'Benjamin,' who raises seven children alone in his famous movie, 'The Patriot.'

The 60-year-old Oscar-winner is expecting another child on the way as girlfriend, Rosalind Ross is pregnant with the actor's ninth child, confirms Us Weekly.

The duo reportedly began dating in 2014 and has appeared together on the red carpet since then.

Just 26 years old, Rosalind Ross is a champion equestrian vaulter, a sport that requires participants to dance and perform gymnastic routines on horseback.

On the other hand, the 'The Lethal Weapon' actor is already a father to eight children from his previous marriage to dental nurse, Robyn Moore and relationship with ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.
