Lal Bahadur Lohar, a member of a bomb disposal team was critically injured on Thursday, while two of his colleagues suffered minor injuries as they diffused an explosive this morning in Jalpaipuri, West Bengal.
"We have cordoned off the area. The bomb disposal team had reached the spot and they are investigating," Assistant Superintendent of Police Akash Meghariya said.
Lohar, 45, was rushed to a nearby hospital after the incident.
A bomb was found attached to a cycle in a field here this morning. The three-member bomb disposal team was at the spot to neutralize it.
The police is presently investigating the incident.
