Memphis Depay netted his maiden goal for Manchester United to help the Premier League side claim a 3-1 pre-season win over Major League Soccer side San Jose Earthquakes.
Juan Mata had earlier put United ahead in the 32nd minute before Depay, who was signed for 31million pounds, doubled the lead four minutes later, the BBC reported.
Although Fatai Alashe pulled one back for the hosts, Andreas Pereira scored the third goal after half-time to guide the Louis van Gaal's side to victory.
United have so far won both games of their United States tour and will take on Champions League winner Barcelona in Santa Clara on Saturday.
