The India Meteorological Department on Sunday issued warning for heavy rainfall over a period of next five days in Telangana.
After moderate to heavy rain in the first few days of the current month, Telangana has received very little rain.
Hyderabad, Medak and Ranga Reddy districts have received negative rainfall this month. Hyderabad city received rains only in the first five days of the month. Likewise, the entire state is also far behind from meeting its average rainfall mark for the month.
As per the official records, out of the total of 36 mandals, 11 witnessed scanty rain and in 19 mandals, normal rainfall was recorded while six received above normal.
