Michael Jackson once approached to play 'Doctor Who'

Michael Jackson was once offered the role of Time Lord in 'Doctor Who' for the film remake of the show in the 80s.

Bill Cosby, 75, was the second choice, the Daily Star reported

The revelation comes in a new book, 'Doctor Who at The Movies', about the many attempts to make a film of the show.
