Michelle Obama, wife of US President Barack Obama, recently expressed her views and said that women were "smarter" than men.

According to White House press pool, during the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit's "spousal program", the first lady said that there was need for change and 'outnumbered' men were not in a position to crib about it, the Politico reported.

Obama, 50, who along with former first lady Laura Bush was addressing the spouses of African leaders, also said that people needed to "change their attitude first before they change their behaviour" towards women.
