The Delhi High Court on Thursday expressed its displeasure over the slow pace of investigation in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student Najeeb Ahmed's missing case.

The High Court bench of Justice G.S Sustani and Justice Vinod Goel slammed the Delhi Police and asked them to file the call details of some suspected students.

The High Court also sought passport of details of Najeeb, who has been missing since the intervening night of October 14-15 last year.

The High Court refused the demand of petitioner's counsel regarding court-monitored inquiry in the case.

The case will be next heard on April 10.

Najeeb, 27, a first year M.Sc. student, went missing from his JNU hostel, allegedly after a row with members of the RSS student wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
