Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh is hoping to revamp and resurrect his international cricket career through the ongoing Champions Trophy being played in England.
Cricket Australia and the national selectors are also hopeful that Marsh will use Australia's next encounter with New Zealand in Birmingham to display his cricketing prowess on the international stage, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
According to the report, Marsh's off-field indiscretions have had an adverse impact on his cricket career, as also his injuries.
Stand-in Australian captain George Bailey said the challenge for Marsh is to harness his talents and perform on the big stage.
Bailey also said Marsh is not daunted by playing international cricket and is willing and wanting to learn.
