Indian mobile wallet major MobiKwik has announced the appointment of Vineet K. Singh as the Chief Business Officer.
An industry veteran, Vineet previously co-founded Buildzar.com. He has more than 16 years of experience in the consumer internet industry. Prior to Buildzar, he was EVP and Business Head of multiple business in Info Edge including Naukri.com, 99acres.com, JeevanSaathi.com and NaukriGulf.com.
He worked closely with promoters of Info Edge while having built businesses from ground up to topline of 500cr+ and a market cap of over USD two billion.
"Vineet's experience in leading business growth, his vision, and leadership make him uniquely qualified to drive business at MobiKwik at this moment of great opportunity. A market research recently reported that the global mobile wallet market was valued at approximately USD 594.00 billion in 2016 and is expected to reach approximately USD 3,142.17 billion by 2022, growing at a CAGR of around 32 percent between 2017 and 2022.
