Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Thursday accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) of being biased and partial.

"I had warned you (EC) on April 24 that you have failed to do your duty properly. I accuse the election commission of being partial and biased," said Modi while addressing a rally here.

He alleged that there are reports of poll rigging in UP, Bihar and West Bengal, and said that in the previous three phases of the elections there were several reports of poll disturbances and booth capturing.

He also said that there is a huge difference between this election and the previous elections, and added that it is the first time that results are already announced before the polling.

Taking on Bahujan Samaj Party, Samajwadi Party and the Congress, Modi said, "In Lucknow, first there was Behenji's government, then baap-beta's government. In Delhi, there has been a government of Mother-Son duo. Has there been any improvement in your life in the last 10 years?"

He said that the leaders of these parties indulges in nepotism, and have only helped their relatives to get benefit.

He reiterated that the Congress is finding it difficult to save Amethi, the bastion of Nehru-Gandhi family.

Taking up the cause of tribals and farmers, Modi said, "I want to work for my tribal friends. Farmers are not given adequate price for their produce. How long will this robbery last? Congress doesn't protect you from these robbers. But the BJP will protect you. We will have a system to determine Minimum Support Price for farmers.
