Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan shook hands and held "unofficial" talks during the retreat organised by the Government of Nepal at Dhulikhel on Thursday.
Kantipur Online quoted sources at the retreat as informing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif shared conversations briefly during a group discussion that took place here.
"The two PMs talked briefly at the group discussions during the retreat. One-to-One talks didn't take place," one of the sources was quoted, as saying by the web site.
Nepal TV shared a brief clip of the two leaders shaking hands warmly for several minutes and exchanging pleasantries briefing. Both leaders were laughing during their brief conversation
The heads of government of these two nations didn't acknowledge each other during the inaugural ceremony of the 18th Saarc Summit and at the sideline meetings held at Soaltee Hotel yesterday.
