Reacting to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's claim that Gujarat Government has provided round the clock electricity supply to the people, Communist Party leader (CPI) leader Atul Anjan on Sunday said that Modi is a liar and believes that repeating lies would make them true.

"Modi lies a lot, and he thinks if he keeps repeating those lies they will become true," said Anjan.

"He says similar kind of things in all his rallies and it is lie that there are no power cuts in Gujarat. All the lies he kept saying were revealed in the recent report by the government," he said.

"All of his speeches on Gujarat's development are nothing but lies," he added.

"Who told him that he is the future PM of the country, why is he assuming things," he said.

He further said that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) was a pocket organization of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

"The VHP has given support to Narendra Modi as it is a pocket organization of RSS," said Anjan.
