England skipper Eoin Morgan has admitted that his bowlers have failed to create pressure on the opposition so far in the World Cup, demanding a more aggressive approach from their side ahead of crunch game against Bangladesh in their Pool A tie on Monday.
Pace spearheads Stuart Broad and James Anderson have so far claimed four wickets between them in the ongoing tournament.
Morgan said that normally first 35 overs had been their strength as they looked to take wickets early with aggressive bowling and then built pressure in the middle period by banging out a length.
Reflecting on the team's performance, the skipper added that they had been less attacking than they normally would with the ball, and they had bowled some bad balls which had given opposition, like Sri Lanka last weekend, a release just when pressure had built, the Daily Express reported.
England are languishing at fifth spot in Pool A table and must not lose against Bangladesh in Adelaide if they want to harbor any hopes of a quarterfinal berth.
