Mourinho gives up hope of Chelsea PL win following Crystal Palace loss

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has said that they have now lost any chance of finishing first in the Premier League title chase, following the club's loss to Crystal Palace, which is their second successive loss in away game.

Mourinho said that they depend too much on other results adding that it is too much in six matches and now Chelsea has to try to finish in the best position they can.

According to The Independent, for once, Mourinho said that Palace deserved to win as their spirit and desire was stronger adding that he was disappointed by the loss as they can only blame themselves for such a defeat.

Mourinho also said that they lost to a team better in spirit and mentality than Chelsea adding that his teams do not normally lose because of that.

Chelsea lost 1-0 to Palace after captain John Terry, who plays at centre back for the club, scored an own goal to lead their rivals to victory, the report added.
