Mourinho laughs off Chelsea's 'Invincibles' tag

Chelsea football team manager Jose Mourinho has refused to entertain speculations of his team being 'invincible' after he watched his side strengthen their hold at the top of the Premier League table by winning 2-1 at Liverpool.

Diego Costa's 67th-minute goal gave Chelsea victory at Anfield on Saturday, helping his side extend an unbeaten league run stretching back to March and fuelling comparisons with Arsenal's 2003-04 'Invincibles'.

However, Mourinho believes that suggestions his team could emulate that Arsenal side by going through an entire season without losing a game are fanciful, The BBC reported.

Mourinho disagreed that there was no chance of Chelsea's prospects of avoiding defeat between now and May 24. He admitted that it is possible to be champions, and they want to play for that, but also said that in modern football he does not believe in going unbeaten all season.

The Portuguese manager revealed that one day Chelsea would lose, but the next game they would win again. He admitted that they would play badly, but they would recover their game because they are a strong team.

Mourinho admitted that Chelsea is a stable team, but at the same team he revealed that he has been in the game so long he knows the defeat would arrive and the bad moment would arrive.

Mourinho said that they would be ready for that, adding that they believe in everyone and they are a happy camp.
