New Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that incoming Manchester United manager David Moyes cannot be expected to be a fish in the water in the very first match and United will need to give some time to Moyes to adapt to a team playing Champions League matches.
According to the Mirror, Mourinho claimed that Moyes has proved himself at Everton and showcased his managerial talents well, even though the club has not won silverware.
Mourinho also said that he feels happy for Moyes as the latter has had a good experience as Everton manager and has performed well at his job.
Mourinho further added that Moyes has made a good choice by planning to join United as the club will provide him with the stability and time that he will inevitably need.
