Manchester United manager David Moyes has denied that the club is the mystery behind Gareth Bale's counter-bid from Real Madrid, which is said to involve a world-record fee.
According to the Independent, Moyes replied bluntly to whether Man United was the mystery club but said that it would always be in the market for the world's best players.
Meanwhile, Tottenham striker Gareth Bale was ordered back to training after he was in Spain to discuss a record move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, which did not materialize.
