Moyes may let Rooney loose against Chelsea on day of fresh transfer bid
Premier League club Chelsea will initiate a fresh transfer bid for Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney on Monday night after the two championship contenders have played at Old Trafford.
According to the Mirror, Moyes is ready to start Rooney for Manchester United against the Londoners on Monday, despite the Stamford Bridge club's interest to buy the England striker.
Rooney wanted to join Jose Mourinho's men, but is now resigned to staying put after Moyes told him there was no way United would sell him to a title rival in the form of Chelsea, the report said.
The manager said that Rooney had a good chance of playing against Chelsea and a good chance of starting.
