Manchester United boss David Moyes has said that his predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson would also have struggled this season if had still been in charge of the club.
Moyes has reportedly been under-fire for United's poor show this season, as United stand at the seventh position in the Premier League table this season, 26 points worse off than at the same stage under Ferguson last year.
According to the BBC, Moyes said that it could have been the case no matter who might have been in charge of the club this season adding that it has been so 'un-Manchester United'.
The former Everton boss said that under the current condition United has to look to continue a policy of building, improving, getting better and that is what they will try to do.
Moyes said that the United squad is ageing and people are aware of that, adding that it would have been a tough season for whoever was in charge of the club this year.
