Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday expressed his deepest condolences to the families of those who had lost their lives in the twin train mishap in Madhya Pradesh late on Tuesday night.
"Very sad to learn of the derailment of 2 trains in Madhya Pradesh. My deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones in this mishap," Rahul said on twitter.
"I hope the injured are provided adequate medical care and assistance at the earliest," he added.
At least 28 people died after two passenger trains, Kamayani Express and Janata Express, derailed within minutes of each other while crossing flooded tracks in Madhya Pradesh last night.
