Microsoft Office has added an update for its Office for iPad that allows users to print Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents.

The app updates also have new features that include bug fixes and stability improvements.

According to Tech Radar, the app was introduced after innumerable requests were sent to the company by users.

Word users can now print a document with or without a mark up and, Excel users can print selected spreadsheets or whole spreadsheet using any Airprint printer.

The update also adds the feature of Smart guides for PowerPoint that help in the alignment of documents for tidier presentations, the report adds.

Currently, the Office 360 Subscribers can access these features but the free versions of the apps can also access the new printing feature.
