Second-seed Andy Murray struggled past Richard Gasquet of France to secure his 67th win of the season and to progress through to the semifinals of the ATP Paris Masters here on Friday.
The Britain number one bounced back from a set down to claim a 7-6 (9-7), 3-6, 6-3 over Gasquet in a thrilling quarterfinal contest that lasted for about two hours and 38 minutes.
With the win, Murray has also recorded his seventh overall victory against No. 10 seed Gasquet.
Murray has also joined Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal as the only player to reach the semi-finals at all nine ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments of the season.
Meanwhile, world number one Djokovic will also aim to enter last four when he will take on Tomas Berdych in the quarterfinals.
