Britain number one Andy Murray insisted that he has no issues with World number one Novak Djokovic, brushing aside the rumoured rift between both after their Australian Open finale, ahead of their BNP Paribas Open semifinal on Saturday.

Murray cruised into the semifinal round with a comfortable 6-3, 6-4 win over Spanish opponent Feliciano Lopez.

Murray, who lost 16 of his 24 encounters against Djokovic, including the last five said that he had seen Djokovic a few times since and has absolutely no issues with [him] at all, the Independent reported.

Reflecting on the controversy spawned after the Australian Open final, Murray observed that saying he was distracted turned into a massive thing that he and Djokovic had some issue with each other, insisting that it was certainly not the case.

The two-time Grand Slam champion added that they have known each other for 15 years, admitting that whatever happened in the final didn't go beyond it.
