Canadian Milos Raonic recovered from a set down to earn a determined 4-6, 7-6 (10), 7-5 win over world number three Rafael Nadal in a pulsating quarterfinal at the BNP Paribas Open.
Raonic will next meet world number two Roger Federer, who advanced to the next round with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Tomas Berdych, in the semifinal, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Raonic saved three match points in the second set before levelling the contest in a nail-biting tiebreaker.
Subsequently, the Canadian broke Nadal in the 11th game of the third set before cruising to victory in a match that lasted almost three hours to a close.
On the other hand, Andy Murray will next meet World number one Novak Djokovic on Saturday to book a berth in the final.
