Musical.ly announces winners of its fourth One Million Audition in India

musical.ly, one of the world's most popular short-form video communities celebrating creativity through video, today announced the five winners out of 2,00,000 participants of the fourth edition of its One Million Audition in India, following two weeks' exciting and hotly contest with over 3,50,000 videos.

The top five winning 'musers' (or musical.ly users as they are popularly known) are:

-Shivani Kapila; Foodie

-Shriya Jain; Singer

-Rakshit Stunts; Special Skills Guru

The One Million Audition was introduced in 2017 and since then, it has been a much-awaited tradition across Japan, India, Latin America, Europe and the United States with over 800,000 participants. The Fourth One Million Audition in India outsized all 12 previous editions across 12 countries globally of which four were held in India that nurtured several stars.

The Fourth One Million Audition is an exciting confluence of India's diversity. It is the cornerstone of musical.ly's mission of providing a powerful platform to fuel the aspirations of millions of young Indians looking to showcase, grow and validate their diverse talents to become superstars in front of millions of musers.

For the fourth contest, musers drew inspiration from One Million Audition mentors Tiger Shroff, Rakul Preet Singh, Mallika Dua, Shirley Setia and Lauren Gottlieb. Each of the five winners is awarded an Honor 10 smartphone and ~INR 33,000 / US$ 500 in cash. Winning muser, Shriya Jain in the singer category said, "musical.ly and musers have become a part of my family! musical.ly and the #1MillionAudition has given me opportunities to increase my popularity and boost my growth on the platform. It has widened my following on other social media platforms as well, while encouraging me to connect with people who enjoy my music. My message to other fellow musers is to create original and innovative content, be patient, believe in yourself and you will get there."

The sports category of the One Million Audition drew tremendous participation with scores of musers including mentor Tiger Shroff stepping up to accept the national #FitnessChallenge started by Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports. #HumFitTohIndiaFit is trending on musical.ly with over 3.3 million video views with the popular hashtag #1msportsin as a part of the contest.
