NAACP Image Awards 2016: All the winners

The 47th annual NAACP Image Awards has arrived with Anthony Anderson hosting the ceremony for the third year.

The award ceremony witnessed the members of the American National Association for the Advancement of Colored People honoring outstanding people of colour in films, music, books and television shows, E! Online reports.

Several Hollywood celebrities have been given the high honour this year, from Creed's Michael B. Jordan to Empire's Jussie Smollet and films 'Straight Outta Compton' and 'Beasts of No Nation' were also praised with nominations.
