Spanish tennis ace Rafael Nadal will reportedly participate in his first liver poker tournament in December as he had faithfully played the game since a knee injury last summer forced him off the court for several months.
According to the Daily Times, Nadal will participate in the European Poker Tour in Prague, Czech Republic from December 8 to December 18.
However, the report said that it was not specified whether Nadal would take part in the official competition or a separate fringe event.
2010 US Open champion Nadal, who recently overtook Andy Murray at No. 2 in the rankings, and Swiss star Roger Federer might meet in the quarterfinals at the US Open while world no.1 Novak Djokovic and Nadal could meet only in the final.
