Naga filmmaker Rebecca Changkija to capture beauty of North-east in films

Bollywood filmmaker Rebecca Alemla Changkija, who hails from Nagaland, is set to capture the beauty of the North-east in her upcoming films.

Rebecca has already produced a Bollywood film 'The Dark Secrets of Tonhi' and a few others are in the pipeline including '2 a.m. at Lokhandwala', Elena and '16 mm picture'.

A fashion designer by profession, Rebecca runs 'Find Studioz', a Production House in Mumbai and her motive is to explore North-east through Bollywood.

Rebecca said that she wants to promote the scenic beauty of the North-east.

"We went to shoot in Northeast so that people can see the beauty of Northeast. There are so many people who doesn't know where is Northeast though we are Indian sometime people thought we are from outside. Northeast is a beautiful place so I want to promote that through my movie," she said.

A number of people from the North-east like Lin Laishram, Adil Hussain, Rajni Basumatary, Patralekha, Danny Denzongpa, Chuzho Zhokhoi, Diethozo Medeo and Geetanjali Thapa have already made a mark in the entertainment industry.
