An 18-year-old student allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Maharashtra's Nagpur city.
Saurabh Nagpurkar, who was studying engineering, in his suicide note, mentioned that he ended his life because he "saw the spirit of a boy" whom he had seen dying in a road accident.
According to the cops, Saurabh witnessed the accident two months ago.
"He, in his dying statement, wrote that the ghost of a young boy who he saw getting killed in the road accident was calling him," police official Tulsiram Dhakulkar told ANI.
In the note he also claimed that within a span of two months he met with the accidents twice, 'which were caused by the ghost of the accident victim'.
The boy had told his family that he was scared, which allegedly went unheard, police said.
