Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Monday said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government has nothing to hide or fear in the upcoming monsoon session and is ready to discuss every issue in the parliament.

"We have nothing to hide and nothing to fear. The Government is ready to discuss each and every issue as per the rules and precedents which were set up by the earlier Government and different regimes," said Naidu.

The Parliamentary Affairs Minister further said the political parties have given their valuable suggestions over several issues, while addressing the media following BJP's all party meet.

"The opposition has suggested that we must discuss the issue of agriculture, food adulteration.some people wanted more time to discuss the north east related issues and some people wanted to discuss the socio-economic cast status report which has come out in the media. There are state specific issues also," he said.

Naidu further said that the opposition expressed happiness over the meeting of the political parties.

"The parties have given their valuable suggestions. This is an important meeting on the eve of the session because we take stock of the situation, what are the proposals of the government, what are the issues which the opposition would like to raise.we discussed it. A lot of friends from opposition expressed happiness over the meeting of the political parties," he added.
