Naqvi terms Congress protest against NDA Government a 'demonstration of defeat'

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Thursday said that the protest by Congress workers against Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government at Jantar Mantar was a demonstration of defeat and discredited people.

"It was a demonstration of defeated and discredited people," said Naqvi.

Earlier today, there was a scuffle between the police and Congress workers at Congress Yuva Aakrosh rally at Jantar Mantar.

The protestors who were agitating against Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government, were baton charged and a few of them were detained by the police.
