Nawaz Sharif Govt. has no say in 'terrorists-controlled Pak': Shiv Sena

Asserting that terrorist groups control Pakistan, the Shiv Sena on Wednesday said there is no need for a dialogue with the neighbouring nation as the democratic government in Islamabad does not have any control.

"Shiv Sena has always believed that there shouldn't be any talk. The time to talk is now over. We have tried a lot many times to maintain a good relationship with our neighbour, but Pakistan is not a country, it is a land where terrorists and goons rule," Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut told ANI.

"We always talk to Nawaz Sharif, but nothing happens as nobody listens to him because the democratic government doesn't have control over Pakistan. Terrorist groups and ISI controls the country," he added.

Pointing out that the phase of debate and discussion is over, Raut further said India needs to act tough against Pakistan.

"They were threatening that they would not let Amarnath Yatra take place. Hafiz Saeed had also given similar threats. The terrorist, who has been caught today, was sent for this purpose only," Raut said.

"If we are going to have a discussion, then why is this happening? That's why the Shiv Sena has never been in favour of discussions. The path of debate and discussion has closed. Very strict action needs to be taken so that Pakistan gets afraid of us," he added.

Earlier today, one terrorist was nabbed by the security forces after the Udhampur militant attack in which two BSF jawans were killed.

Terrorists wearing army fatigue attacked a BSF convoy, which was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar, at Narsu nullah near Samroli.

The attack took place just days after former Pakistan Director General Tariq Khosa's revelation that there is evidence to link the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) to 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

According to reports, India is likely to raise the recent revelations by Khosa and the recent incidents of ceasefire violations along the Line of Control during the NSA-level dialogue expected to take place later this month.
