Based on secret information received from a reliable source that one person namely Dhiman was carrying huge quantities of charas concealed in his Hyundai Ascent car, a team of the NCB officers were constituted and a close surveillance was kept on the suspected person nearby Yamuna Expressway Toll Plaza.

On March 23, one green coloured Hyundai arrived at the expressway and the team intercepted the car with driver Dhiman. The officials could recover sixty packets of charas concealed in the specially modified cavity in the left back door and dickey of the car.

Dhiman during his interrogation revealed that the drugs he was carrying belonged to a person from Mathura, adding that person instructed him to bring the consignment from a person based at Kullu.
