Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Praful Patel on Monday said that the party's alliance with the Congress for the coming elections had been finalized and that both the parties will be fighting the elections together.
"Today the congress and NCP had a meeting in which NCP and Congress members were present, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and I am glad to inform everyone that both the parties will contest the coming elections together," said Patel.
"We had a final discussion about the association of Congress and NCP in the coming elections.
For the past 15 years we have been together and we will continue this alliance," he said.
