Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday said the NDA Government has freed the nation of policy paralysis and bad governance.

Naqvi further said that the strong steps taken by the government in the first 100 days have yielded positive results.

"It is clearly visible that the strong steps that we took to drive the economy have yielded positive results despite the poor state of economy left behind by the previous government. The current government has freed the nation from policy paralysis and bad governance," Naqvi told ANI here, while commenting on the performance of the government in the first 100 days in office.

"These 100 days of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government have been 100 days of trust and development. These 100 days have also been 100 days for GDP, where G is good governance, D is development and P is prosperity," he added.

The BJP leader further said the government has done some serious work on the economic and judicial front in these first 100 days.

"Our aim is to extend the benefits of positive development to every street and every village of the country," he added.

India's economy grew at 5.7 percent in the April-June quarter as compared to 4.7 percent growth in the corresponding quarter a year ago. This is also the fastest growth recorded in any quarter over the last two years. The growth is reportedly attributed to strong industrial activity and a better agricultural performance.
