The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders will meet at Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu's residence here today to discuss the strategy for the upcoming Punjab Assembly polls in 2017.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Amit Shah will also attend the meeting, in which the future of BJP-SAD alliance in the state is also likely to be discussed.
On Saturday, Shah had met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at latter's residence to finalise the next party chief for Punjab.
The BJP had recently also reached out to cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu and tried to get him on board for the electoral strategy. Sidhu had distanced himself from the state politics ever since he was replaced with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley as the candidate to contest 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Amritsar.
